Anna’s Artist Statment

“The majority of my art practice is two-dimensional work like drawing and painting (both digitally and traditionally), but lately I’m also into exploring new ways of expressing my ideas.

I prefer not to stick with one particular style in my artwork and enjoy experimenting with simplified cartoony styles, as well as more realistic/semi-realistic. I believe this helps me grow as an artist and makes my work more entertaining.

I always have been interested in visual storytelling, such as comics, films, illustrations and etc., and this can be seen in my practice a lot. To convey a narrative is the main focus in most of my work.

I’m still studying and trying many new things, hoping to find my place in the art world.”
